There are multiple forms that employees use (PTO request, expense reports, per diem request, etc.). Having online access to such forms, with ability to complete form online, will allow easy and timely reporting that will benefit HR, AP and employee direct supervisor.
Another concern is that a large number of employees do not log into the Trimble portal to review their paystub. The employee paycheck is direct deposited into their bank account and they assume it is correct. An employee may attempt to login if a paystub is needed for a personal matter such as obtaining a loan. At year-end when W-2's are available, employees will login to obtain a copy of their respective form in order to file their tax return. However, since the employee has not logged into Employee Self Service all year (or most of the year), they do not remember procedure and/or password thereby creating a number of hours being wasted assisting said employees.
Ability to access, enter information in a form, and submit (even if only to HR) through the Employee Self Service will cause more frequent login and use of the module thereby providing a great employee benefit and system enhancement.
