It would be helpful when an employee takes off time in the future for it to not count towards there days off currently since a lot can change between now and then if they put it in advance for 4 months. A lot of our employees are planners and our old system used to tell them how many they would accrue in the future of when they were talking the time to ensure they would have enough to take and it also wouldn't hit there balance until the timecard was completed / locked
